The Deming philosophy in service organisations; practical steps to profound improvement
Please register your interest in future dates below
Dr Deming’s philosophy drove the ‘Japanese miracle’ in manufacturing. This unique event will provide practical steps to radically improve performance and growth in service organisations, with an emphasis on ‘what to do on Monday’.
- Why did Deming declare 14 points for management?
- Where should we start?
- How do we uncover the ‘deadly diseases’?
- How do we act to achieve profound results?
Dr Deming would ask: how is it that as quality improves, productivity improves? Answer: less (costly) rework. Easy to see in manufacturing. The same phenomenon occurs in service organisations but it is invisible, and current ‘controls’ ensure the invisibility.
John will illustrate how to make it visible, energising leaders to change their philosophy; seeing the size of the prize. Adopting the philosophy leads to far better customer service at much lower costs.
This event is designed for people working in service organisations. It is an interactive event – attendees will reflect on their own organisations throughout the day, to ensure they have confidence in choosing how to act.
Spaces are strictly limited.
This event is held in conjunction with the Deming Alliance.
